Templates and formulas produce essays that read like templates and formulas. Lessons focus on the reasoning behind writing decisions, so the method survives an unfamiliar quote set.

GAMSAT Plus is run by its founder, who teaches every lesson personally. This page explains the teaching approach so you can judge it before a consultation — and it deliberately avoids the inflated biography claims common in exam preparation.
Why Section 2
Because writing is the skill students are most often left to fix alone.
Science sections come with textbooks and question banks. Written Communication mostly comes with vague advice: "be original", "structure your essay", "practise more". GAMSAT Plus exists because that advice is useless without someone showing you, in your own writing, what it actually means.
Section 2 rewards thinking made visible — a position taken, developed and expressed clearly under time pressure. That is teachable, and it is taught best one student at a time.
Clarity as a discipline
Clear writing is treated as evidence of clear thinking, not decoration. If a sentence cannot be explained, it is not finished.
Deliberate practice
Improvement comes from targeted repetition: isolate one weakness, practise the fix, then rebuild it into full essays. "Write more essays" is not a plan.
How the teaching works
Your writing is the curriculum.
There is no fixed script recited at every student. Lessons are built from what your submitted work shows, which is why work is requested before sessions and why feedback always ends in a concrete next action.

- No promised scores, percentiles or admission outcomes
- No claim that one method suits every student — that is what the consultation is for
- No pretence of ACER affiliation, official rubrics or insider knowledge
Background
Credentials, stated carefully.
Specific biographical details are shared directly at the consultation rather than dressed up here. What this page will never do is pad the founder's background with unverifiable scores, invented student results or borrowed authority — if a claim ever appears in this section, it will be one that can be checked.
You are encouraged to ask anything about background and experience at the consultation. A tutor you are trusting with months of preparation should welcome that question.
Judge the method by its work
The clearest evidence available today is the teaching itself: the way feedback is written, the way lessons are structured and the way next actions are set.
